Call for Papers
The organisers of CBCE 2020 invite you to submit papers to be presented at this prestigious event.
The organisers are seeking papers related to the 2020 conference – Honouring the past, evaluating the present, shaping the future.
We are aware that the burial and cremation sectors are facing unprecedented change in the way that services to the bereaved are delivered. The recent consultation by the CMA, the rise of direct cremation, the need to meet the ever increasing ecological pressures and the lack of burial space all impact on the day to day service that the industry provides. With shrinking budgets and ever more demanding targets the running of crematoria and cemeteries is becoming more challenging.
CBCE 2020 provides the ideal opportunity to not only look at what is happening within the sector now but to help delegates shape the future. There are many changes taking place within the bereavement service and CBCE will enable better planning for the continuing delivery of excellence.
As the bereavement sector continues to grow this key annual event provides a unique opportunity to acquire the most up-to-date and relevant information. Keynote speakers will equip you with insights into the issues facing services, exhibitors will show you the latest services and products available and networking opportunities will provide the space to engage with fellow professionals.
Submissions are encouraged from anyone with an interest in this field who would like to share their work with delegates. We welcome submissions from those working within the death care sector.
Presentations should be approximately 20 minutes in duration and the presenter should be willing to participate in a short question and answer after the presentation.
