The burial and cremation sectors are embarking upon a period of unprecedented change. New cremation documentation introduced from April 2018, the burial and cremation legal framework under review by the Law Commission, the Medical Examiners Service to go live in April 2019, Defra Process Guidance Notes for Cremation are due to be reviewed and the first wave of abated cremators are now coming up for replacement.
